YouTuber Gabbie Hanna is involved with all the drama this week. She is most know for crazy story-time videos, cleaning her apartment, and her music. Hanna has 6.55 million followers on YouTube but has lost over 80k in the last couple of days.
The first part of the drama is that she is having some intense beef with Trisha Paytas and Gabi DeMartino. It all started with Hanna posting an Insta-story saying if it was wrong to tell a friend that the person they were in a sexual relationship with had an "incurable STD." Paytas then made a video called "WHY I DON'T TRUST GABBIE HANNA," Paytas said that Hanna had previously texted Paytas' then-boyfriend Jason Nash and told him that she heard Paytas had herpes. Hanna then went to twitter to defend herself by saying that it was not her business to know that Paytas had an STD but it was her business to tell her friends, Jason Nash, that he was dating someone with an STD. Then she is when everything went crazy. Gabi DeMartino is friends with both Paytas and Hanna. Demartino was hanging out with Paytas making videos and after this Hanna heard that they were hanging out. Hanna wanted to know if Paytas was saying anything mean about her and DeMartino said that Paytas heard that Hanna didn't like her but this was a lie. After this Hanna wanted to talk to Paytas so DeMartino was the middle man in this situation doing the communication for Hanna to Paytas. This all ended with Paytas saying that she is going to call her lawyers and after that, it just ended basically.
Also before all of this social media drama, Hanna twitted out that she hoped to have a scandal soon because her "views are down."
The next drama Hanna was involved in is a little sensitive so this is a warning if you wish to continue the next part will involve sexual assault.
Back in the day Jessie Smiles, a YouTuber with 971k subscribers, was best friends with Hanna and they did a lot of videos together.
Then one day they stopped being friends and that part as to why they stopped being a friend is a little unknown but from what happens to Smiles it makes sense why they are no longer good friends or not even on speaking terms anymore. Smiles posted a video called "Gabbie Hanna needs to be stopped" that addresses that she was raped by a fellow internet star named Curtis Lepore, who plead guilty in 2013, and Hanna took his side. Smiles posted this video because she was inspired by Paytas's video about Hanna. Paytas's video stirred some demons from her pasted that made her want to finally tell the world what Hanna did to her. Hanna sent a DM to a fan named Deanna who brought up the Jessi-Curtis issue in a comment.
However, later Deanna realized she is being manipulated by Gabbie Hanna. Hanna texted her making the fan feel as if it was the fan's fault for thinking she would do anything mean but after some research on the internet, anyone can find some of the mean things Hanna has done in the past. Hanna wanted to see receipts, pictures or any proof that she supported Curtis Lepore. Hanna claims she never collaborated or contacted with Lepore, and it is all a rumor. She only tweeted at him once and that was before she met Jessi Smiles. Gabbie even told Deanna that Lepore called her when he heard about what happened between Hanna and Smiles's friendship breaking. He apologized to Hanna for his past behavior with her and she replied with thanks but that she will never side with him or bash Jessi. But Smiles said that Hanna was at a party with Lepore and they were friends even though Hanna knew what he did to Smiles.
Hanna has called Smiles a “Crazy b**h” and “Psychotic”. Smiles said that Hanna only spends time with psychotic people because she wants to “fix them”. Hanna has also used Smiles’ medications as an excuse. Smiles was using anti-depressants five years back when she was dealing with her trauma of the rape. She confided in Hanna because Hanna always talks about helping people, but Hanna just broke her more.
Fans are now releasing who rude and mean Hanna has been to the fans and her friends over the years and a lot are over it.
This drama is crazy and complex that it took me a while to figure it all out, but I hope in the end Smiles finds happiness and Hanna will stop this hate.
